In The Beginning...there was Sci Fi Con 12!

The Sci Fi Con opens tomorrow, May 15 and will run until the 24th with lots of shopping, activities, events and even a hunt to enjoy. It is in it's 12th year and is another event that goes towards helping raise funds for the American Cancer Society's drive to find a cure for cancer.

 Lots of great photo opportunities await you here. The theme here is Time and many familiar faces can be found. I got a chance to snap some pictures of Doc, Marty, Terminator, Doctor Who and even some anonymous alien type person. 

 

I did stop to interview one of the local inhabitants, a robotic looking fellow who seemed to have quite an anger management problem. He kept yelling nonsense at me.

On this sim, some of the booths include other great partners in the fight against cancer. These events all strive to raise funds for the American Cancer Society to help find a cure.

There is the  Fantasy Fair Booth where you can play gachas for some of the fantastic memorabilia from this years Fantasy Fair in case you missed your chance before! 

 And there is the booth for the Home and Garden Expo , another of the great fund raisers for ACS on the grid
