Dance Like Nobody's Watching - Why I Relay

 

 A few years ago, though it feels like it was just yesterday, the strongest, kindest woman I ever knew left our lives after her third battle with Thyroid cancer. What was supposed to be a clean bill of health a decard earlier, came back to haunt her and take her life much like a monster rising from the fog. Totally unexpected, it took us all unaware and ended in her drifting off into a forever sleep, free from pain and cares of this world. Those of us who survive her live on to remember her strength, her love, her advice and to honor her memory forever. We miss you Mom! 

Soon, the Fantasy Faire will open and the fairelands will return from the mists. Magic and hope will again shine upon the grid and for a little while, our fantasies, dreams, and hopes can all live within us. I am wearing some of the amazing items that will be available once the faire opens on April 20, including the little bunny on my shoulder which is holding the Thyroid cancer awareness ribbon.
